Is a branch of linguistics where the sounds and physical properties of human speech sounds are studied. Phonics reading is highly essential in every child's education, to develop more confidence in themselves before they begin to vocalize more. Mrs Sudha Murthy M.A (pry) D.S.E (SLD) special education consultant is training our kids in phonetics.

KINDER DANCE

"I do not try to dance better than anyone else, I only try to dance better than myself"

Kinder Dance is a US based company (Est.1979). Kinder dance programs blend a variety of physical skills with educational concepts. Children learn the basics of creative movement, ballet, tap, floor gymnastics, gross motor development and modern dance skills while learning colors, numbers, shapes, words, songs, and age appropriate educational concepts. The blending of these discipline ensures that each child has an optimal experience. This all round programs eliminates the need for a child to be enrolled in multiple activities for total mind/ body development.

E-BLOCKS

"Play is the highest form of Research"

Enables children to experience language through all their senses in a fun and relaxed way. The activities establish strong foundation for both listening, comprehension and reading skills. I-CUE

"Pleasure Reading"

A person may be asked what exactly is the highest pleasure, which a literate man enjoys one can say without any hesitation that there cannot be anything greater than the pleasure afforded by books, because reading is quite incalculable. Research has shown that language is acquired most rapidly in the first five years of age. SKIES engages with I-Cue education solutions to help children develop a love for reading. Each child will receive circulating book a week so that they inculcate reading habit.

FIELD TRIP

Practical exposure helps kids to understand the concepts better. Kids are given opportunity to seeing, feeling and doing. Kids are taken to vegetable market- Big Bazaar, Post Office, Parks, Aquarium, around the school, Traffic Signals. These field trips are planned keeping in mind the syllabus requirement and a child centered.

LIBRARY-STUDY

"Rise-a-Leader"

Kindergarten has a separate library and reading room. The library consists of books related to their age. Students borrow books during the weekend to enhance reading skills.

C.C.A.

Extra curricular activities (C.C.A.) are conducted on every fourth Saturday. C.C.A is an entire class competition conducted every month on topic like Rhymes, storytelling, shlokas, see the pictures and talk, Elocutions singing.

SPECIAL DAYS AND OCCASIONS

Celebrating all the festivals teach children about culture other than their own. children come dressed accordingly, listen to the stories and dance heartily. The different festivals celebrated are Sankranthi, Ugadi, Krishna Janmashtami, Dasara, Diwali, Christmas and New year.

Special days

School celebrates Sports day, Grandparents day, Annual day, Environmental day, Science Exhibition, Independence day, Republic day, Teachers day, Children's day and Graduation day.

Observation day

Parents are invited to interact with the teachers and observe the day activity pertaining to the curriculum.
