Activities

Our management, staff and students volunteer in doing social services. Our belief is that community service is learning by doing, experiencing and caring for people. Visit to old age homes and orphanages and contributing kitchen supplies, books, food and entertainment, organizing campaigns to bring out awareness for various causes such as "SWACHH BHARATH", save the girl child, reduce-reuse and recycle etc. are part of our community service activities. This spreads cheer in them and has a meaningful impact on their lives.

VISIT TO OLD-AGE HOME "ASAKTHA POSHAKA SABHA"

On 23rd December 2017, Students of SRI KRISHNA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL along with Teachers gave a visit to an old age home "ASAKTHA POSHAKA SABHA" in V.V.Puram, Bengaluru. Old age home is an aged people's unfortunate and unexpected destination dispute delivering all fortunes and expectations of their beloved son or daughter.

The old age home was a beautiful from outside. Then we reached the auditorium of the place "SAMSKRITI SADANA". One after the other, the members of the place started to assemble. It was very sad to see many senior citizens in that place. There were almost 160 ladies and 95 gents. We were sad to listen their stories but they were all adjusted to that place.

We performed four dances, one skit and sang two songs to entertain the crowd. We even received positive comments for the same. Later we cut a cake and distributed among them. They were all happy and blessed us. We also denoted groceries, medicines, fruits and vegetables, etc..

Finally, we got an opportunity to interact with them. We came to know the different types of problems people face. While interacting we found that many of them had joined the place since they had no one to look after them. Though they had children, they were useless to look after their own parents. We really felt that this type of children should actually be ashamed for what they have done.
